Standex Electronics expands its SMD reed sensor line-up with the MK31 series, the industry’s smallest 6.4 mm package. Designed for portable electronics and wearables, the MK31 delivers long life, low power consumption, and reliable performance in compact applications.

The new MK31 series is the smallest in size and best in quality! When it comes to PCB space, size matters. The MK31 is 20% smaller than the competition, measuring only L6.4mm x H1.95mm x W2.2mm. Furthermore, the MK31 and the entire line-up of SMD reed sensors require no switching load.
Standex surface mount reed sensors can effectively sense from up to 44mm away. With a unique hermetic seal and no wearing parts, the reed switch sensor can outlast mechanical switches, offering an unusually long life in the millions of operations.
